It is a lovely thing, Graeme

...if you are not eating a sandwich!
Graeme Hubbard: Looks good, feels horrible!
You have a galaxy in your back yard Graeme... wonderful capture....petersmile
Graeme Hubbard: A good description, Peter. Thank you.
Very good. There seems to be a lot of them about this year!
Graeme Hubbard: Mostly round 'ere! Thanks, Bill.
at a first glance i thought it was some kind of a watery spray. like the play of light here
Graeme Hubbard: Funny you should say that. I've another picture that I took of half a dozen columns along a hedgerow that I thought looked liked fountains.
I have had swarms of mozzies / gnats that have really beaten me up in Wester Ross
Graeme Hubbard: A great place for being eaten alive, Richard.
I really love this. So often I have tried to get one this perfect. Love it! A likey.
Graeme Hubbard: Thanks, Mary. I've had lots of attemots, too. The light caught these favourably and there were plenty of them.
These critters seem to be about early this year, I guess the weather we've had must be good for them.
Graeme Hubbard: We came to that conclusion as well, Brian.
Wow, really superb Graeme. One better stops breathing when walking through them!
Graeme Hubbard: Thanks Richard. Stop breathing, flap arms about frantically, and get a move on!
Very good! I've never seen that many together before.
Graeme Hubbard: Thanks, Jacquelyn. I don't remember seeing as many as this year.

I love this photo! Very well spotted, such drama! I wouldn't want to jog through these!
Graeme Hubbard: Hello, Tony. Thanks. I was lucky with the light and the sheer amount of these things. Walking through them wasn't pleasant!
A galaxy of gnats!
Graeme Hubbard: A good description, Louis. Millions of the buggers against a good light.
This is fantastic Graeme! You've caught this so well!!
Graeme Hubbard: Thanks, Elizabeth. Lucky with the light and quantity of gnats.
